Musical inspiration of the month

As I've already told you guys, I'm studying music. Right now, we're having a theme about baroque, and the culture and music from back then. My teacher told us how we can draw parallels between big compositions by for example Bach, and today's classic rock melodies. That's when I suddenly remembered an amazing artist I used to listen to a lot. Emilie Autumn. She is a singer, a composer, violinist and fashion inspiration. She started writing music when she was a small kid (just like the big classic composers like Mozart and Bach), and as a kid she dreamed of becoming a famous classical violinist. Her background is coming through very clearly in her music. She uses instruments like harpsichord, cello, and of course her dearest possession, the violin. No wonder why she loves it so much.. I mean, Look at it!!! (in the pictures below) :i

The reason why she inspires me this much is because, I've been both playing violin and composing when I was a kid, but I never got as far with it as she has. Also the fact that she is such a big history-nerd and connects so much with the big classic composers... She's just amazing to me! I can listen to her music for hours and hours, and float away on a pink cloud. The sound of the bow running over the strings. The flicking sound of the harpsichord, and her amazing voice which can both sing a deep and full alto, but also a light and sharp soprano, with an amazing vibrato. Omg.. I love her.. She's one of the only musicians who has ever made me cry!

Besides.. her fashion style is indescribable because it's so... so.. extraordinary and creative, so I'm just gonna post a bunch of pictures of her, plus some videos with my favorite songs:
